Local family go the extra mile to help Rescue Team

The Sivills family from Marske have helped the team over the years by completing the Whalebones Walk (formally the Frigate Walk) despite their young ages. Kris, Kelly and Anna have been doing the walk for 10 years with Anna only been 6 when she first completed it and has done it every year since. Walking with parents they are usually one of the first groups back to the pub for a well-earned drink and food provided by the pub. This year Kris on behalf of the team also took part in the Boxing Day dip braving the bitterly cold North Sea at Redcar and raising £103 towards team funds. The team are extremely grateful to all who help and especially people who are willing to brave the icy North Sea in December.
