
19th December 1300: A 33 year old Marske resident had slipped on an icy path whilst walking in the woods above Marske. She was initially assisted by one of our ex team members who liaiased with the ambulance service and alerted the rest of the Team. 18 Team members responded to the incident that took place about a kilometre from the nearest road access.
The lady was treated on the scene by ambulance paramedics before being evacuated by the Rescue Team on a specialised mountain rescue stretcher. The incident lasted about 2 hours.
